Juan Thornhill Kansas City Chiefs

The Kansas City Chiefs have moved on from a few long-term players over the last few years. Tyreek Hill was one of the first guys in the core group to leave, and then last year, safety Juan Thornhill was another guy added to that list.

Thornhill won two rings with the Kansas City Chiefs, but this offseason, he was offered a good contract by the Cleveland Browns to join their defense.

The Chiefs replaced him with second-year safety Bryan Cook and veteran Mike Edwards. But there are no hard feelings between the two sides.

"I never wish anything bad on 'em, but hopefully, this was their last year because I'm hoping that we can get there each and every year now," Thornhill recently said.

While the Chiefs Kingdom is fine with seeing Thornhill having success, they don't want him to have similar success as the Chiefs because they are in the same conference.

Then again, it's very unlikely that Thornhill and the Browns can do what the Chiefs have done the last four years. In recent history, only one team has done something similar, if not better – the New England Patriots.

The Browns would have to make it to four straight AFC Championships and three Super Bowls and win two of them, which they have never done in their history.

The Chiefs Kingdom loves Thornhill, but let's be realistic. It won't get as good as he had it in Kansas City.
