A lot has happened in the universe of the Kansas City Chiefs, and as always, a lot of it is drama. But would it be an NFL offseason without some drama? No, it wouldn't.

We saw the video of Mecole Hardman describing what happened between him and the New York Jets, which traded him to the Kansas City Chiefs. He said that they didn't treat the season the right way and did not approach it the correct way. They also promised him some things that just didn't happen, so he was as upset about that as anyone would be.

Then the Jets claimed that Hardman was giving away game plans to other teams, specifically the Kansas City Chiefs, when they played the New York Jets and the Philadelphia Eagles, the two games the Jets played the best in on offense.

Finally, Hardman has spoken on those accusations.

There were FALSE accusations made about me and MY CHARACTER! To set the record straight, I have never and would never leak gameplans to another team. I have never been a person to give an opponent an upper hand I always want to win no matter the circumstances!!!!!

First, those are some pretty crazy accusations. If you want my opinion, I feel like the Jets are trying to make Mecole Hardman the scapegoat when the root of the problems the Jets had on offense is a lot deeper than just the quarterback issue. Their offensive coordinator, Nathaniel Hackett, just had the worst offense in 2022 with the Denver Broncos. That tells you everything you need to know.

Either way, it all worked for the better. Mecole Hardman ended up going to a great organization that won him another Super Bowl ring, where he was used the right way and even won the game on a walk-off touchdown. However, all of this drama is a bit crazy.
