If you missed the news, the Chiefs finally signed a wide receiver in free agency. They gave Marquise "Hollywood" Brown a one-year deal worth up to $11 million with contract incentives. How did the squad convince him to join the team? Well, Reid relied on his trusted strategy, which was proven effective with LB Drue Tranquill a season ago.
Brown posted the proof to his Instagram page. If scroll to the second image below, you'll find a text message from Andy Reid.
"Hollywood, think Red today, KC Red with diamonds!!!," Reid wrote, followed by a winking emoji.
"Yessir Love the sound of that," Brown responded. "Think Hollywood Brown. Lights, Camera, Action."
These two seem like a match made in heaven, and Patrick Mahomes seems pretty excited about the news, too.
