The Kansas City Chiefs and Denver Broncos have completed their final practice sessions before their Week 10 AFC West showdown.
Both team's injury situations have steadily improved throughout the practice week, and Friday was no different for Kansas City. While Chiefs HC Andy Reid ruled out one player, he saw another return to practice on Friday.
"As far as injuries go, JuJu (Smith-Schuster) will be the only one that's out," Reid said. "Everybody else practiced. Turk (Tershawn Wharton) practiced today and did a pretty good job there."
As for Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes' ankle, he completed his third consecutive full practice session. His left ankle remains heavily taped, but Coach Reid delivered a good report on Mahomes after the team's famed Fast Friday practice session.
"He's done a good job," Reid said of Mahomes. "Yeah, he hasn't missed anything."
