The Kansas City Chiefs have completed their second practice session of the week ahead of their Week 12 road game against the Carolina Panthers.

For the first time in a while, the Chiefs are on the other side of the midweek injury bug. Things were status quo for Kansas City on Thursday, which raises some questions about the availability of RB Isiah Pacheco and DE Charles Omenihu for Week 12. However, the Panthers had a familiar injury situation crop up with their kicker and another player on Thursday.

Here's a look at the second injury reports of the week for each team. . .

Observations:

  • Both Pacheco and Omenihu remain limited participants in practice, decreasing the likelihood they're activated and play in Week 12 in Carolina. They still have a chance, but they'll have to practice in full on Friday.

Observations:

  • Two players were listed with new injuries at the midweek mark for Carolina, including starting kicker Eddy Pineiro. This happened to the Chiefs with Harrison Butker last week. No word on the severity of the injury just yet, but he's among the league's most accurate kickers this season.
  • OLB Amare Barno saw his practice status downgraded to a non-participant on Thursday. The Panthers are dealing with a lot of OLB injuries, including Jadeveon Clowney and DJ Wonnum, so that's definitely one to watch.
