The Kansas City Chiefs have completed their first practice session of the week ahead of their Week 13 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders at GEHA Field Arrowhead Stadium.

Injuries are a continual problem for Kansas City, as evidenced by their latest roster moves. However, those moves, combined with the latest injury report from practice, suggest that a pair of players returning from injury are trending in the right direction.

  • New Chiefs T D.J. Humphries (knee/ACL) was not listed on the injury report, which is a positive sign.

Observations:

  • As big of a story as the QB situation is for the Raiders, their starting CB and nickel are both non-participants with injuries. The secondary might be in rough shape against a group of Chiefs pass-catchers who have improved in recent weeks.
