As if the Kansas City Chiefs didn't already have enough concerns at the offensive tackle position, Thursday's injury report for Week 14 against the Los Angeles Chargers brought a new one.

The Chiefs only have three players appearing on the injury report this week, but one of those players saw his practice status downgraded on Thursday. That player is none other than starting right tackle Jawaan Taylor, who is currently dealing with a knee injury. This is the second consecutive week on the injury report for Taylor, who hasn't missed a game since joining the team back in 2023.

Kansas City already has a situation brewing at the left tackle position after Wanya Morris was benched last week. It looks as if new LT D.J. Humphries will get the nod as starter in Week 14. Any instability at the right tackle spot could be a huge blow to the team's plans in Week 14 and beyond.

It's worth noting that the Chiefs did practice in the indoor facility on Thursday, which notably has less room for players to work. They're typically more cautious with injuries because of this. It's not clear if that's why Taylor was held back from full participation.

According to the Chiefs' depth chart for Week 14, if Taylor was unable to play, it'd be UDFA RT Ethan Driskell as the starter at right tackle.

Here's a look at the second injury report of the week for both teams. . .
