The Kansas City Chiefs are dealing with another significant injury on the offensive side of the ball.

Chiefs starting LT Wanya Morris is currently sidelined with an injury after starting the game. Morris got his right leg rolled up on by Broncos DT D.J. Jones after an eight-yard gain. He was down on the field in some serious pain and needed to be assisted by the training staff. After limping to the sideline, Morris had his right leg looked at by trainers. He was eventually assisted down to the tunnel and to the locker room for further examination.

The team eventually ruled him questionable to return to the game with a knee injury.

Morris has battled a knee injury all season and even aggravated it in Week 5 against the Saints. He continued playing through that game, but it's unclear if he'll return to this one.

Morris, of course, was replaced by rookie OT Kinglsey Suamataia. The second-round draft pick out of BYU will get a chance to show his growth and development. Morris previously replaced Suamataia as the team's starter in Week 3 of the 2024 NFL season. Suamataia has only seen snaps on jumbo formations or after a Morris was declared eligible.

The Broncos are attempting to take advantage of Suamataia being in the game by matching up speed-rusher Nik Bonitto against him. It's working on some snaps as the rookie offensive tackle struggles with speed to the outside and inside shoulder.
