The Kansas City Chiefs made a ton of moves this offseason, all of which should definitely help this team. They addressed every need they had, besides the wide receiver and right tackle issues, they still have.
Those issues will likely be addressed through the draft. They did let Orlando Brown walk and ended up signing Jawaan Taylor instead – a guy who played just as many pass-blocking snaps but allowed 12 pressures to Brown's 37.
You can definitely say it's an upgrade.
But there was one issue for a lot of people when the Chiefs made the signing. They paid Taylor a lot of money to play left tackle, a position he hadn't played since college, and even then he wasn't a full-time left tackle.
They paid a right tackle to switch sides on the offensive line. Even if Taylor says "It's just a flip of the hip," it's harder than it sounds.
Luckily, the soon-to-be fifth-year tackle has been in the lab working on his left tackle footwork, as seen on his Instagram.
Taylor is a guy known for working out and having the mentality of a gym rat. There shouldn't be too much of a worry about him switching positions. If he wants to get it done, he will.
