Kansas City Chiefs RB Jerick McKinnon managed something against the New England Patriots in Week 15 that has only been accomplished three times in franchise history.

McKinnon scored two touchdowns against the Patriots on Sunday. He had one passing touchdown on a four-yard pop pass to Chiefs rookie WR Rashee Rice. He also had an eight-yard receiving touchdown in the red zone in the second quarter.

McKinnon became just the third player ever in franchise history to record a passing and receiving touchdown in the same game. He's the first to do it in over a decade, too.

Former Chiefs RB Curtis McClinton did so in September of 1963 with the Dallas Texans before the AFL-NFL merger. That's pretty impressive considering the forward pass still wasn't so prevalent in the league.

Former Chiefs QB Tyler Thigpen was the player who most recently accomplished the feat before McKinnon, during a November 2008 game. Former Chiefs WR Mark Bradley threw that pass, with the duo perfectly executing the trick play.

McKinnon's day might not carry the same nostalgia evoked by this particular play, but it's a pretty remarkable accomplishment either way. The touchdowns certainly helped fantasy football managers who were wise enough to heed our advice earlier this week.
