The Kansas City Chiefs have had a lot of visits with a lot of prospects for the upcoming 2023 NFL Draft, where they look to add some talent to their young core so that they can continue competing for championships for years to come.

The best part about the pre-draft process is trying to guess where guys will go based on the visits they take. It's also a good way to see what positions the team itself thinks they need to add the most.

For example, the Chiefs have visited with roughly eight wide receivers, because they need one, and no quarterbacks, because they don't need one. The Chiefs do, though, seem to be interested in a guy who played his college ball not too far from Arrowhead Stadium, as they visited with him during a local visit.

"I actually got to go out to a local pro day as well, and worked out with the running back coach and worked out with the special teams coordinator, and felt like I did really, really good," Kansas State running back Deuce Vaughn said. "I was able to go upstairs and talk with Matt Nagy and talk with the running back coach and, even, and speak to Andy Reid a little bit and just get to learn about their offense and, pretty much portray myself and my football knowledge to them as well.

"So I was up in that their, their film room, I was up in their office for about two hours, after that workout and then, just the football prowess and the knowledge that they have as an offensive, not only Andy but Matt Nagy as well and the running back coach, it was, it was huge to even be up in there talking about football with them. I mean, they're geniuses on that side, you can see why they won a couple of Super Bowls and why they're gonna win a lot, for years to come."

I don't know too many people who don't like Vaughn. He is a guy who plays way bigger than his size and has the heart of a lion when it comes to the game of football. He is one of the greatest running backs to ever play for K-State and often gets compared to Darren Sproles, who was amazing at Kansas State.

The Chiefs don't have a huge need at running back, but they are looking for someone who could be that third running back to make the roster if Jerick McKinnon doesn't resign.

I'm sure there is a very large part of the fan base that would love to have Vaughn on the team. I think if the Chiefs do draft him on day three, which is likely when he will be taken, then he has a chance to make the roster.
