The Kansas City Chiefs made a sneaky good trade for Neil Farrell just before Week 1 kicked off against the Detroit Lions.
Farrell wasn't ready to play on Thursday against the Lions because he had not yet learned the playbook. So, he sat it out and watched his defense play tremendously.
However, he has had plenty of time now, and we may very well see him in Week 2 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. At least he is teasing that, anyway.
Farrell went to Twitter and tweeted out "Game week !" as he is preparing to learn the playbook and getting settled in as a member of the Chiefs.
The Jacksonville Jaguars are no slump, and Farrell will be very much needed on Sunday. Not to mention, there will likely still be no Chris Jones and definitely will be no Charles Omenihu.
The Jaguars are out for blood for what happened in the playoffs last season.
