The Kansas City Chiefs' best player gave a crucial update on his status.

This past postseason Patrick Mahomes hurt his ankle pretty badly. Against the Jacksonville Jaguars, he rolled his ankle and ended up having a high ankle sprain. It severely impacted his game. However, Mahomes did Mahomes thing and got the job done.

On Tuesday, the Chiefs met with the media before they started training camp, and Mahomes let everyone know how he was feeling.

"It feels great… I'm in a good spot with it."

This is nothing but music to the ears, as Mahomes game took a hit in the postseason. Now, he can have his full range of motion in every aspect of his game.

It makes you think, too, imagine if he was fully healthy during this last Super Bowl run. Things could have gotten scary for opponents.
