Good news, Chiefs Kingdom.

The reigning Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs are one of the few lucky NFL teams that will have all three of their preseason games broadcast nationally. NFL Network announced on Tuesday that they'd carry 21 live preseason games on their network during 2024. That includes seven games in Week 1, six games in Week 2, and eight games in Week 3.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport was the first to share the news, pointing out a big emphasis on rookie quarterbacks:

So long as you have NFL Network, you won't need to pick up any extra services to view all of the Chiefs' preseason games on television.

As for scheduling quirks of the preseason, the Chiefs will wrap up the Week 1 triple-header following games between the Chicago Bears and Buffalo Bills along with the Las Vegas Raiders and Minnesota Vikings. They'll be the second game of Week 2's quadruple-header, following a showdown between the Cincinnati Bengals and Chicago Bears. In the final week of the preseason, they'll get the first nationally televised game of the week on Thursday night.

Remember, Chiefs starters typically will get some work in during the preseason. How much work tends to be up to them and HC Andy Reid. It can range from a series to a full quarter to a half depending on how successful they are on offense and defense. The final game of the preseason is typically given to fringe players who are trying to make one last impression to earn a spot on the 53-man roster.
