The Kansas City Chiefs, as we say so often, have the steal of the 2022 draft in Isiah Pacheco. I mean, who doesn't like the guy? He was a seventh-round pick that has somehow made his way into a starting role and has looked the part since the first start.

The Chiefs struck gold on that pick. They didn't need a running back, at the time, but took a flyer on the guy anyways. Now he is easily a fan favorite in Kansas City.

He runs hard, like, very hard, and he can pass block like nobody's business. There is one thing that some people, non-Chiefs fans, of course, don't like though. Pacheco seems to have "too much" energy if that was even a thing.

Eric Bieniemy, the Chiefs' offensive coordinator likes that and lets Pacheco be himself.

“You know what, that’s a part of him, so he’s going to play excited regardless. So after every time he touched the ball, he has this juice or this energy – and I told you before, I want that same juice after every play call like, ‘Yeah, I just called that play!’ (laughter).

"You know what I mean? But, he’s enjoying it and you do not want to take that from him because that’s a part of who he is. He loves that. It makes him, it re-energizes him for the next play, but that’s something that Pacheco has within him. And we’re just going to ride with it.”

There is probably a highlight reel out there somewhere of Pacheco just getting up after a run and screaming, bringing energy. It's probably like four minutes too. Pacheco brings energy to the team, and it's very much appreciated by Chiefs Kingdom.

Pacheco is going to keep doing what he does, at a high level too. He runs through people, and I mean through people, and when he does, he lets everyone hear about it, including his teammates, which only gets them going more too.

It's great that Bieniemy is letting Pacheco be himself. I think Chiefs fans will like that. He's a pretty good football player.
