No, the Kansas City Chiefs are still not a dynasty, but they are close. They are officially at that level where people just assume that over the next few years, they will win another Super Bowl, or at least have another performance.

That is still a really good place to be in.

They are a team that didn't have much before Patrick Mahomes came along. Now, in just five short seasons as a starter, they have gotten to celebrate five straight AFC Championship appearances, three Super Bowl appearances, and two rings. All of that has been with Mahomes, by the way.

But, we know the chiefs are nowhere near done, and the media knows that too. In fact, one of the most respected NFL media members guaranteed that the Chiefs would be back in the Super Bowl soon.

"He did it with his by far best Super Bowl performance to date," Rich Eisen said on his show. "And maybe this is the way it's going to go for him forever more in the big game, possibly can have an off game if he makes it back…

"He's better than Aaron Rodgers. And I just said those words. He's better than Aaron Rodgers. [Andy] Reid's better than McCarthy. The team around him is better than the team that was around Rogers. He's making it back. I feel very comfortable making those statements."

I couldn't agree more. The Chiefs have a much better team as it stands than Rodgers has ever had. And the reason Eisen even brought up Rodgers, is because he said the same thing about him making it back to the big game, and it never happened.

But he acknowledged this is different.

This team is so much better, and it may even be safe to say he is better than Rodgers. The coaching staff is better too. The Chiefs will most definitely be back soon, and Eisen knows it too.
