The Kansas City Chiefs new offensive tackle revealed the differences between his former coach and his new coach.

Andy Reid is the best coach in the league, and it really isn't close. Sure, Bill Belichick has more championships, but he also had Tom Brady, and since the greatest quarterback of all time left, he hasn't even sniffed the playoffs.

The next best head coach in the league is his former predecessor, Doug Pederson, who is now the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars, but was the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles.

Pederson won a Super Bowl with the Eagles and took the Jaguars from a three-win team to winning a playoff game last season. But that same Jaguars team has now lost its best offensive tackle, who will have played for both the best coaches in the league by the time the season starts.

"Yeah, [they are] definitely similarities," new offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor told the media. "I feel like it's a few more moving parts in this offense, a little more advanced for the offensive line, but, you know, I've been learning it, and I've been enjoying it… It's definitely similar, but it's definitely a great, great thing."

Pederson did one hell of a job last season with that Jaguars team, as he propelled them to a top-10 offense in the league last season, scoring 23.9 points per game. You have to be a great coach to do that with a team that is not only as young as the Jaguars but a team as bad as they were the few years before last season.

He is one of the many coaches who comes from the Andy Reid coaching tree, and while he is, to me, the second-best coach in the league, he still isn't as good as Reid. To me, Taylor's comments show just how much of a gap and attention to detail there is with Reid. Taylor will soon see what it takes to become a two-time Super Bowl champion like Reid is.
