The Kansas City Chiefs are hosting the 2023 NFL Draft in their own city just a few months after winning the 2022 Super Bowl. This team has officially done it all.

If you watched the broadcast, you could see that the grass between Union Station and the World War Memorial is full, with no open spaces and the majority of the color red. The Chiefs are taking over and the fans are here for it.

When the draft was opened by Rodger Goodell, he started by saying "Home of the 2022 Super Bowl champions" and introduced some celebrity Kansas City natives. Eric Stonestreet, the actor from most notably Modern Family, announced Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, just after Will Shields and Dante Hall were introduced.

Kelce and Mahomes walking out to the stage was the most perfect thing Chiefs fans could see, and they held the Lombardi trophy and let everyone know where they were, and was transpired just four months ago.

When Kelce got on the microphone, he couldn't help but joke and say "Are you all ready for the Chiefs to trade up to number one?" He was joking of course.

He and Mahomes were on the stage having the time of their lives. They owned the beginning of the draft when all eyes were supposed to be on the Carolina Panthers at number one.
