Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and his teammates are in the Big Apple for a "Sunday Night Football" tilt with the New York Jets.

If you live in New York City, you might have some idea about Mahomes being in town. The reigning league MVP announced on X (formerly Twitter) that the new "Away" colorway of his Adidas Mahomes 1 Impact FLX would be released to the public on Tuesday, Oct. 3 and they're advertising that in a big way.

Mahomes' marketing ace Jacquelyn Dahl shared a video on X (formerly Twitter), with a massive inflated shoe on top of a skyscraper and a banner ad featuring Mahomes on the side of the building.

Check it out:

You certainly don't see a giant inflated shoe on top of a building every day, and it's quite the way to advertise with Mahomes set to appear on the national stage on "Sunday Night Football."

Here's what Mahomes had to say about the newest colorway, via press release

“Our fans are everything to us, whether that’s at home or on the road, Chiefs Kingdom rolls together. This colorway is dedicated to all those fans who make the trip or have their roots in Kansas City. There’s much more to come next year as my partnership with adidas continues to grow.”

Chiefs Kingdom will have a chance to show out on the road on Sunday night, and then they can grab the "Away" colorway next week.
