There haven't been very many games throughout his career that Patrick Mahomes has lost with the Kansas City Chiefs. He is 106-26 in his career when you factor in his playoff record as well, according to StatMuse. That's not a lot of losing at all, and yet, he continues to find ways to evolve his game and do whatever it takes to win certain games. It's gotten to the point now that if you're up by 10 points in the fourth quarter, and Patrick Mahomes gets the ball, you may as well just chalk the game up as a loss.

Even with all of that winning, he is still plagued by something. I know, how could a guy that has only been in the NFL since 2017, or 2018 as a starter, and is already one of the greatest of all time, have anything that plagues him? It's interesting to think about, really.

Mahomes is human, just like us, even if it doesn't sometimes seem like it. There is one thing that still haunts him, and I'm sure it's why he goes as hard as he does every time he steps foot on the field. A humbling experience he had a few years ago is what has ultimately helped turn him into what he is now.

Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes still haunted by one game

It's Super Bowl week, and as the players are set and ready to play the Philadelphia Eagles after wins over the Houston Texans and Buffalo Bills, the Chiefs are ready to get the show on the road. But first, they must talk to the media. Super Bowl media is not your average media. These players will get asked all sorts of things.

For example, I'm sure Travis Kelce has been asked a million times by now, questions about his girlfriend Taylor Swift. He's even been asked once if he plans on proposing. Then you have goofy guys like Jameis Winston, the former Cleveland Browns and New Orleans Saints QB, asking players their favorite colors.

So, yes, it's different. One question Mahomes was asked, is what game he still thinks about more than others.

“The Super Bowl vs. Tampa, pretty easy," Mahomes said on Wednesday morning.

He will never let that one down, but as we have heard him say before, he has used that moment a ton throughout his life, and that ultimately made him a better man and player.

Hey, even Tom Brady lost three Super Bowls.
