Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes and WR Marquise 'Hollywood' Brown are hard at work in Texas. On Wednesday, they provided fans with a brief glimpse of the 2024 NFL season.
Mahomes and Brown were down at the Colleyville Heritage High School football facility in Colleyville, Texas. The pair got a chance to hit the Panthers' indoor practice field and work some routes as they aim to get their timing down ahead of the upcoming season.
Preston Smith Photography shared a reel featuring a quick throw and catch between the new QB-WR duo.
The caption reads "155 Days Out" and 155 days from Wednesday, April 3 is Thursday, Sept. 5. That's opening day for the 2024 NFL season, where the reigning Super Bowl champion Chiefs will play host to an opponent at Arrowhead Stadium.
Brown responded to the video on Instagram with the following emojis: "⏳⏳⏳"
He knows that his time is coming, and he seems quite dedicated to making the most of it in Kansas City. It took him just days after signing with the team to get down to Texas to get some work in with Mahomes. That work continues now and will be kicked up a notch once the offseason workout program officially begins for the Chiefs in a few weeks.
