The Kansas City Chiefs are making history, but you all knew that. They have once again proved the doubters they do have wrong, and are heading to a third straight Super Bowl. A win over the Buffalo Bills is huge, but now they will be tasked with taking on an elite run game with Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley.

However, while the team as a whole is continuing to make history, Patrick Mahomes also continues to make some history of his own. The Chiefs traded with the Buffalo Bills to draft Mahomes, so for him to have the history he now has is pretty impressive. And, hey, at the time, the Bills had Josh Allen, a first-round pick in the draft, and Mahomes was an unknown, raw talent. So, who really could have known that would happen?

Well, probably the Chiefs and Mahomes. To make things even sweeter, he's made NFL history with Josh Allen that no Bills fan will want to hear, and Allen certainly doesn't want to hear it.

Chiefs' Mahomes owns Bills' Allen in the postseason

These two have played one another precisely nine times, which is a fair amount considering Mahomes has only been starting for seven years. But, four of those nine games have been playoff games. And, as we all know, the Bills have never beaten Mahomes and the Chiefs in the playoffs, whether that's at home, like this year, or on the road, like last year.

And, that means that Josh Allen, who is a fantastic quarterback, has never beaten Mahomes in the postseason. And here is where we come with the NFL history-making.

Mahomes' four wins over Allen are the most for any quarterback over another in playoff history, which is really insane to think about. But, the math backs.

As long as Mahomes is playing, the AFC will run through Kansas City. And, that means Mahomes will keep a lot of insanely good quarterbacks from winning Super Bowl rings.
