For whatever reason, we like to think that winning is the end-all be-all when comparing QBs in the NFL.

Forget the eye test, the film study, and the stat sheet, if you don't have the rings, you might as well forget about it.

But with Patrick Mahomes now matching the presumptive GOAT, Tom Brady in rings through his first seven seasons, a closer look shows there's not much of a debate anymore.

Mahomes Vs. Brady

As you can see, Mahomes not only leads but dominates Brady in every stat when comparing the first seven years of their career.

Oh and if you wanted to hold the amount of rings over his head, well now they are tied, Mahomes has more Super Bowl MVPs with three to Brady's two, and is now the only player in NFL history to win three Super Bowls and two MVP's at this point in his career. But the best part…

He's only 28 years old.

So yeah, Brady will always have the postseason success in games vs Mahomes. He beat Pat back when the OT rules for the playoffs didn't exist during his time in New England, and then defeated a Chiefs team with linemen that didn't play all year when he was in Tampa.

But if you compare them objectively, and don't even take career trajectory into account with Mahomes, the debate should already be over.
