Chiefs' players give credit where credit is due, but not to the Bills

The Kansas City Chiefs played one of the more interesting games of the season on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. This was the two best teams in football going head to head in a game that gave the other bragging rights until January.
While history doesn't say it, this is starting to become a rivalry between these two teams, as they don't really like each other, but respect each other enough to know how good they both are.
The Bills have gotten the best of the Chiefs the last two times they have met in the regular season. but, the Chiefs have gotten the best of them the last two times they met in the postseason. I'd say the latter matters more.
And that's why Arrowhead Stadium was rocking so much, because of the intensity of the two teams. People know that these two may meet each other again later down the road. I think the players know it too.
Yes, they lost, but I think there is one thing to take away from the loss that matters more than people think. The Chiefs have one of the best advantages in all of football, and it has to do with the fans.
They basically have another player on the field when you think about it. The fanbase is so crazy and the fans are so loud, that they can get into the other team's head. I mean, we saw it get into the ref's head last week against the Raiders.
Fans showed up on Sunday in a game where they were needed most, and I think the players realized that too.
“That’s probably the closest thing you’re going to get to a playoff atmosphere in the regular season,” said Chiefs' linebacker Nick Bolton.
And he is right, that may be the best atmosphere and the most intense one both teams face the rest of the year. While the Chiefs don't really need help with playing in intense atmospheres, hopefully, it does help them a little bit.
