The NFL just made a huge change that affects everyone – the fans, teams, coaches, players, etc. Everyone is affected, and the Chiefs' superstar quarterback doesn't like it.

On Monday the Spring League meetings happened, and they concluded that they would allow a Thursday Night Football flex. What exactly does that mean? Well, here is the exact quote from NFL Communications:

Whereas, given that Thursday Night Football is the only primetime package without flexible scheduling, the membership also wishes to apply flexible scheduling and/or "TBD" scheduling for Thursday Night Football on a trial basis; Be it: Resolved, that flexible scheduling is hereby expanded to Thursdays such that clubs may be required to switch Sunday afternoon regular season games, in Weeks 13-17, to approximately 8:15 p.m. ET on Thursday (and vice-versa) upon at least twenty-eight (28) days notice from the League Office; and Be it

The league announced a while back that they would look into doing this, and when it was announced then players didn't like it, including Patrick Mahomes. He summed it up in one emoji.

He wasn't the only one though, as teammate Justin Reid went on a rant on Twitter a while back.

While we don't really care too much about the Raiders or Chargers and how they feel, Mark Davis put it well too, and even threw a jab in there for the Chargers fans out there.

“If you have a Raiders-Chargers game in Las Vegas scheduled for a Thursday and all of the fans driving from Los Angeles – the Raiders fans and all three Chargers fans – buy their tickets and book their hotels, how in the hell do you schedule it and now say, ‘Sorry, it’s now on Sunday?’ How in the hell do you do that,” Davis said.

This change seems like it's going to set the league on fire and make a ton of people mad.
