The Kansas City Chiefs superstar quarterback is up for another award at the ESPYs.
Shortly after winning the regular season MVP award, his second one, and a Super Bowl MVP, Mahomes is up for another award. This one is less prestigious, especially regarding his legacy on the field, but it's pretty cool, and it would be cool to see him win.
The ESPYs are on July 12, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., when Mahomes is up for the Best Male Athlete award.

- Nikola Jokić, Denver Nuggets, NBA
- Aaron Judge, New York Yankees, MLB
- Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City Chiefs, NFL
- Lionel Messi, Argentina, Soccer
This award will be challenging to win, as he is up against some tough competition. Nikola Jokic just finished up one of the best seasons in the NBA in a while and capped it off with a Finals MVP. Aaron Judge just nearly beat the home run record in 2022-2023 and won the AL MVP award. Messi, well, he is considered the greatest soccer player of all time. There isn't much else left to say about him.
Mahomes winning this award would only add to his trophy case, and he has a good chance to do so.
