The Kansas City Chiefs and Las Vegas Raiders have made a rare trade between division rivals.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Chiefs have shipped off a sixth-round draft pick to the Raiders for DT Neil Farrell. A former fourth-round draft pick out of LSU in 2022, Farrell appeared in nine games for Las Vegas as a rookie. He recorded 12 total tackles, two quarterback hits, and a tackle for loss.

Farrell is listed at 6-foot-4 and 325 pounds, so he should help clog up the middle of the defense beside what has been a lackluster interior defensive line group this preseason in Kansas City.

This move doesn't exactly spell good news for the Chiefs, who still have yet to agree to terms with Chris Jones on a long-term contract extension. This signals that Jones' holdout could very well last into the regular season for Kansas City.
