Things aren't going great for the Kansas City Chiefs at the onset of their Week 4 game against the Los Angeles Chargers. First, a fumble from rookie RB Carson Steele leads to a 74-yard touchdown drive for Los Angeles. That was only the beginning of the bad news, though.

An interception by Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes turned into a scrum for a forced fumble and an injury to Kansas City's star receiver. Just look at this play description from the NFL:

(6:16) (Shotgun) P.Mahomes pass deep left intended for T.Kelce INTERCEPTED by K.Fulton at KC 49. K.Fulton to KC 20 for 29 yards (R.Rice). FUMBLES (R.Rice), RECOVERED by KC-C.Humphrey at KC 20. KC-R.Rice was injured during the play. The Replay Official reviewed the ball was inbounds ruling, and the play was REVERSED. (Shotgun) P.Mahomes pass deep left intended for T.Kelce INTERCEPTED by K.Fulton at KC 49. K.Fulton to KC 20 for 29 yards (R.Rice). FUMBLES (R.Rice), ball out of bounds at KC 20.

During the chaotic scrum for the football, Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes appeared to have injured WR Rashee Rice.

Rice was helped off the field to the sideline during the commercial break following the play. According to CBS sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson, Rice couldn't put any weight on his right knee.

Rice was eventually carted off the field and ruled questionable to return to the game. He was downgraded to out for the rest of the game after going directly to the X-Ray room at SoFi Stadium.

Rice had the most catches (24) and most yards after the catch in the NFL heading into Week 4 of the NFL. He's the team's leading receiver in every possible way. Without him, it's going to be a long day for Kansas City.
