The Kansas City Chiefs game against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday meant more to one player.

Running back Kareem Hunt returned to the place where he had spent five seasons, and he showed a lot of class when speaking about what Cleveland means to him.

"You know it was weird being on the other sideline and running out of a different tunnel, but it felt good to go out on that field again and see some of my brothers I have played with for the last 5 years," Hunt told reporters after the game.  I wish them and the program the best going forward.”

And while he was on the opposite side, he and the Chiefs came away with the win.

Hunt began his career with Kansas City, but left to go to the Browns. However, after Isiah Pacheco's injury this season, he signed to the Chiefs practice squad and was promoted to the active roster just a week later.

So what's been like getting this second chance?

“It truly has been a dream come true," he revealed. "I am excited and I am happy to be back, and it feels good to win. Finding ways to win has been what we have been doing and we have to find ways to keep doing this moving forward.”

Hunt finished Sunday's game with 13 carries for 45 yards along with one reception for four yards. In his 10 games played with the Chiefs, he has 167 carries for five rushing touchdowns, along with 20 receptions for 148 receiving yards.

So, he's been making the most out of his opportunity.

But, he will always have a special place in his heart for the Browns. And there is one member of his former team that he has remained close with.

Running back Nick Chubb was injured in the game and it was announced that he suffered a broken foot, ending his season.

Knowing his relationship with Chubb, Hunt was also asked about this.

“That is insane and I did not even know that. I am going to pray for him," he said. "I know it has been a tough journey for him to get back. But if anybody can overcome it, and bounce back, it is him.”
