The Kansas City Chiefs had this week off against the Denver Broncos, well, kind of. They played their backups and sat most, if not all, of their starters for most, if not all, of the game. So, they didn't actually have a break, but some of the players who needed it the most did get a much-needed break.

And, you have to think, no team in the NFL has played more football than the Chiefs have in the last six years. They have been to four Super Bowls, and in the years they didn't, they still made it to the AFC Championship. That's a lot of football and wear and tear on the body.

So this week, they are off, while the weather is getting crazy, they will be home in their warm houses. And, we all know how crazy the weather is right now. Some of the Chiefs rookies who are not from the area are getting their first experiences with it.
