The Kansas City Chiefs just added some great depth to a position group that needs a ton of it.

The Chiefs are signing former Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle Byron Cowart to help beef up their defensive line and add depth that they desperately needed.

The Chiefs' current defensive tackles are Chris Jones, Derrick Nnadi, Danny Shelton, Daniel Wise, and Tershawn Wharton. Now they add Cowart to the list.

Cowart brings size, above everything else. He is 6'3" and 300 pounds. He is a gap plugger and a line mover. This guy is strong and plays the style that Spagnuolo loves to see out of the big guys.

Cowart is entering his fourth season and has played in 36 games, including starting in 14 for the New England Patriots in 2020.
