Former All-Pro thinks Chiefs can land two superstars soon

The Chiefs are always suitors to land top talent, but two at the same time?

It's not abnormal for the Chiefs to always be linked to the big named free agents or trade targets. Now that they have won two Super Bowls in the last two years, and have the best quarterback in football, it actually happens more.

But they have earned that respect, which is probably why one former All-Pro receiver predicted that the Chiefs would land not one, but two superstars. While that would be amazing, we have to recognize that there is a larger possibility that won't happen than there is that it will happen.

But, hey, this is the NFL, and as we have seen so far, anything is possible.

The Chiefs let JuJu Smith-Schuster walk to the New England Patriots, and Mecole Hardman likely won't be back in Kansas City either, so the Chiefs are currently in the market for a new wide receiver one.

If they don't get one, they would be going into the season with Kadarius Toney likely as the wide receiver one. Is there anything wrong with that? Not necessarily. But he hasn't proven that he can play an entire season healthy yet. He has the skill, we saw that last year, but the health needs to be there as well, especially of the core group would be him, Skyy More, and Marquez Valdes-Scantling.

Dez Bryant went to Twitter to give his take on who the Chiefs' next wide receiver one would be:

"I wouldn’t be surprised if Odell or D hop go to the chiefs… I wouldn’t be surprised if both guys go to the chiefs."

Not only does Bryant guess, or throw out there I should say, who the Chiefs wide receiver one could be, but he throws out two superstars' names.

Imagine DeAndre Hopkins and Odell Beckham Jr. both catching passes from Patrick Mahomes. For Hopkins, the Chiefs would have to trade for him as he is still under contract. For Beckham Jr., the Chiefs seem to be a favorite to sign the free agent.

This isn't Bryant saying this is what will happen by any means, but saying that he wouldn't be surprised accounts for something. This is a guy who knows a bit about football. This is something I think most Chiefs fans would love to see happen.
