The Kansas City Chiefs just signed one of their rivals' former players to their practice squad, showing that their foe made a mistake.
Melvin Gordon has now been on every AFC West team but the Las Vegas Raiders, which could change.
He started his career with the Los Angeles Chargers and was a Pro Bowler there. Then he went to Denver and had a decent time there in terms of statistics.
Unfortunately, his time ended there quicker than it was supposed to. Due to the terrible season, they are having, and his fumble issues, Gordon was cut.
Now, just a week or so later, Gordon is signing to the Chiefs practice squad.
I think there is a chance Gordon could make the official roster as Edwards-Helaire is missing time. Gordon is not a bad running back, at all actually. He just can't hold on to the ball, and that's huge.
The Chiefs also signed wide receiver Bryan Edwards to their practice squad, as they continue to deal with injuries at the position.
