Adam Sandler just gave Travis Kelce the ultimate compliment.
During an appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night, the comedian revealed that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end would appear in Happy Gilmore 2.
Kelce has not been quiet about his desire to be in the movie, and Sandler admitted that he was aware of it.
"He has mentioned it and so we have a nice something for Travis. He is going to come by," Sandler said.
"You guys would love him in real life. What a big, handsome guy," he added. "He's a stud and he's so funny."
Kelce first mentioned it back on his New Heights podcast.
“I'm looking for movie deals,” Kelce said. “I'll do anything in the movie. I'll be a part of it any way I possibly can.”
He already got a start in acting, landing a role in the FX horror drama series, Grotesquerie.
But this is pretty cool, especially for someone who is a big fan of Sandler.
The tight end enjoys playing golf during his time off from football, so this is the perfect role for him.
One fan tries to reassure Travis Kelce with Taylor Swift comment after poor tee shot at golf tournament
Travis Kelce should probably stick to football as a professional career.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end is in Lake Tahoe, California participating in the 35th Annual American Century Championship golf tournament, but didn't have the best start to Day 2.
Travis had a poor tee shot, but one fan tried to reassure him. And it cause the crowd to laugh and even elicited a response from the tight end himself.
The minute he hit the ball, Travis simply said, "Oh no."
And after a few seconds, one fan yelled out from the crowd.
"It’s alright, you still got Taylor,” they said.
Travis' response was perfect.
“You ain’t lying there," he said.
Travis is participating in the tournament with his brother, Jason Kelce. And the two are paired with former offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth for the second day.
And despite that bad shot, he made up for it with an impressive one soon after.
And regardless of how they were playing, the crowd was happy to follow the Kelce brothers everywhere.
Everybody wants to see KillaTrav in action, whether it be on the golf course, the football field, or even on the Eras Tour stage.
There's a Lavender Haze over the golf course
If Travis Kelce is near, expect Taylor Swift's music to be right behind him.
Everyone loves to see how the tight end reacts to anything having to do with the singer, so while on the golf course, Swift's music began to play for the crowd.
And Travis just couldn't stop himself from singing along.
Swift's song "Lavender Haze" from her album Midnights started playing and Travis was tapping his foot while singing the words.
