Travis Kelce fined for unsportsmanlike conduct
This isn't the first time Kelce has been fined this season. In fact, it's the second time that Kelce has been fined this calendar year. He was also fined $14,069 for unsportsmanlike conduct (use of prop) for dunking the ball over the goal post in the Christmas Day game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
This isn't a standard fine situation. Kelce was just going up to Hamlin to talk smack. He believed that his quarterback was done wrong and he went out of his way to stand up for him. Ultimately, the league didn't see things that way.
Kelce will have a chance to appeal the fine if he so chooses ahead of the Super Bowl.
