The Kansas City Chiefs have had some amazing players play for them throughout the years, but one new game-changing technology got something wrong.
If you don't know yet, there is a new software, or technology rather, out there that can do almost anything. It's called AI, or Artificial Intelligence. You can ask the software just about anything and it will answer it. The version of it that everyone seems to be using right now is Chat GPT.
Chat GPT can give you answers to any football question, or math problem, or even answer something that most humans wouldn't know. In the most recent case that involves the Chiefs, it was asked who the top 10 players are all time for the Kansas City Chiefs, and I think it got something extremely wrong.
When you think of the all-time greats, there are a few names that come to mind right off the top of your head. Of course, Patrick Mahomes, the two-time Super Bowl-winning MVP is number one, then there is Len Dawson, Derrick Thomas, Otis Taylor, Tony Gonzalez, and Will Shields. There are other names up there too, but in my opinion, those come to mind the most.
There is one important name that AI left off that list – Travis Kelce.
Here is who AI said was the best player to ever wear a Chiefs uniform all time, in order from one to 10. Patrick Mahomes, Len Dawson, Derrick Thomas, Tony Gonzalez, Will Shields, Bobby Bell, Jamaal Charles, Priest Holmes, Willie Lanier, and at 10 is Otis Taylor.
Not only is Kelce the greatest tight end of all time, but he is the greatest tight end of all time to wear the Chiefs uniform. This was kind of disrespectful to Kelce, in my opinion. If you ask any die-hard, life long Chiefs fan who the best tight end is in Chiefs history they will say Kelce.
If I made the list, I think I may slide Kelce up above Tony Gonzalez. Then again, this is just technology that is very much still in the works. At least they know who the GOAT Chiefs player is.
