The Kansas City Chiefs have wrapped up the 2024 NFL draft.

They selected a total of seven players, but the festivities aren’t quite over yet. The team will continue to add undrafted free agents to fill out their 90-man offseason roster.

As things currently stand they need to add practically a dozen more players to fill out the roster. They could also release some reserve/future contract players to make room for more undrafted players. They’ll also invite several players to try out at their rookie minicamp which will take place either the first or second weekend following the draft.

The Chiefs have found some gems in undrafted free agency in the past. A few of those players remain on the roster, such as DT Tershawn Wharton, LB Jack Cochrane, OG Mike Caliendo, CB Ekow Boye-Doe, and LB Cam Jones. This year the Chiefs have a lot of cap space available, so if they want a player a lot, they can offer a large signing bonus and guaranteed money.

Keep in mind that sometimes rookie minicamp invites are reported as signings. We'll do our best to differentiate between the two. The Chiefs will ultimately announce the official batch of UDFA signings down the line, but we’ll track all of Kansas City’s reported signings and minicamp invites and list them below. Tracking Kansas City Chiefs undrafted free agents signings and rookie minicamp invitations:

USC DB Christian Roland-Wallace

A transfer from Arizona (2019-22), Roland-Wallace had 169 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss 1.5 sacks, 2 interceptions, 18 pass deflections, and two forced fumbles in 41 games with the Wildcats before transferring to USC in 2023. He's more a nickel corner type at the next level.

TCU RB Emani Bailey

Bailey is intriguing because he was a horrible pre-draft tester, but a standout at the Senior Bowl. We'll see if he can catch on in Kansas City. He was highly productive for TCU last season with 223 carries for over 1,200 yards and eight touchdowns. He also caught 25 passes for 184 yards and a score.

UCLA FB Carson Steele

Andy Reid gets his fullback. Steele took a top-30 visit with the team

Penn State LB Curtis Jacobs

A four-year player at Penn State, Jacobs recorded 171 tackles, 24 tackles for loss, and 9.5 sacks during his career. He's a really impressive athlete and should be an instant contributor on special teams.

Marshall OL Ethan Driskell

A two-year starter at left tackle for the Thundering Herd, Driskell is listed at a towering 6-foot-9 and 329 pounds. The size is exciting, but he allowed seven sacks over the past two seasons. Definitely a work in progress.

Rookie minicamp invite: Washington State S Sam Lockett III

A junior college transfer, Lockett is listed at 6-foot-1 and 207 pounds. He appeared in 25 games for the Cougars over the past two seasons, recording 124 total tackles, four tackles for loss, a half sack, two fumble recoveries, one forced fumble, five interceptions and nine passes defended.

Rookie minicamp invite: Northwestern LB Bryce Gallagher

A multi-year starter for Northwestern who has all the makings of a special teams ace and reserve linebacker.

Florida State DT Fabien Lovett Sr.

Lovett had a private workout with the Chiefs ahead of the 2024 NFL draft. The 24-year-old is listed at 6-foot-4 and 318 pounds with 35.5-inch arms. He's a disruptive presence in the middle of the line and is great at the stack-and-attack method.

James Madison WR Reggie Brown

A 6-foot-1 and 195-pound deep threat, Brown earned First-Team All-Sun Belt honors after posting 53 receptions for 1,054 receiving yards and nine touchdowns in 2023.

Rookie minicamp invite: Ole Miss QB Spencer Sanders

One of the most prolific passers in Oklahoma State history before transferring to Ole Miss in 2023. He only threw 29 passes for 278 yards and three touchdowns this past season. Someone has to throw to the players at rookie minicamp this weekend.

Villanova OT Nick Torres

No, not NCIS special agent Nick Torres. This Nick Torres is a 6-foot-6 and 305-pound offensive line prospect. Has started games at right tackle and right guard.

Rookie minicamp invite: Ohio LB Bryce Houston

A three-year team captain with 54 career starts for the Bobcats, Houston recorded 317 total tackles, 31.5 tackles for loss, 10 sacks and three interceptions during his career. A bit undersized in terms of his height, but a sturdy build at over 245 pounds.

Rookie minicamp invite: East Stroudsberg University DE Deshawn McCarthy

A division II edge rusher, McCarthy is listed at 6-foot-4 and 265 pounds. Recorded 32 total tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss and six sacks in 2023.

Rookie Minicamp Invite: Villanova RB TD Ayo-Durojaiye

Listed at 5-foot-11 and 210-pound, Ayo-Durojaiye has prototypical size. He has 310 carries in his career for 1,605 yards and 14 rushing touchdowns. Also has 43 receptions for 400 yards and a touchdown. One passing touchdown for 24 yards.

Rookie Minicamp Invite: Villanova WR Jaaron Hayek

Listed at 6-foot-1 and 200 pounds, Hayek caught 170 catches for 2,744 yards and 29 touchdowns during his college career.

BYU P Ryan Rehkow

Listed at 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds, Rehkow averaged 48.4 yards per punt in 2023. Over 43% of his career punts have landed inside the 20-yard line. He's good competition for Matt Araiza as the Chiefs look to life after Tommy Townsend.

Minicamp invite: North Texas K Noah Rauschenberg

No fear for Harrison Butker, but they need someone to kick at minicamp. Perfect on PATs in 2023. 16-of-19 on field goals. One of the best kickoff specialists in the draft.

Minicamp Invite: Penn State RB Trey Potts

Potts appeared in all 13 games on offense and special teams for the Nittany Lions in 2023. He finished with just 25 carries for 155 yards and two rushing touchdowns. He also caught four passes for 57 yards and a touchdown and threw an 11-yard touchdown pass.

Minicamp Invite: NDSU WR Zach Mathis

Listed at 6-foot-7 and 207 pounds, Mathis caught 46 passes for 665 yards and six touchdowns in 2023.

Kansas State WR/RS Phillip Brooks

Brooks attended the Chiefs' local pro day. He finished fourth in school history in career receptions (182), seventh in receiving yards (2,127), and tied for seventh in receiving touchdowns (14). His 65 games played are the second most in K-State history.

Charlotte EDGE Eyabi Okie-Anoma

This pickup has the potential to be the most prominent for the Chiefs. A former top 5 recruit in the 2018 class, Okie-Anoma bounced around several different schools before landing in Charlotte in 2023. Talent-wise he should have been drafted, but there are some character concerns here.

Oklahoma OL McKade Mettauer

A transfer from CAL, Mettauer played right guard for the Sooners for the past two seasons. He played one season with Chiefs OT Wanya Morris.

Texas Tech TE Baylor Cupp

The Chiefs snag a player from Texas Tech. Cupp is listed at 6-foot-6 and 260 pounds. He caught 23 passes for 246 yards and four touchdowns over the past two seasons.

Southern Miss LB Swayze Bozeman

Another insane athlete at the linebacker position, Bozeman is listed at 6-foot-1 and 224 pounds. He ran a 4.5s 40-yard dash, jumped a 36-inch vertical, and a 131-inch broad jump. His agility scores were off the charts with a 4.22s short shuttle and a 6.87s three-cone.

Minicamp invite: Bentley CB Mathieu Severance

Minicamp invite: Texas State OT Brey Walker

Listed at 6-foot-7 and 350 pounds, Walker was a former top recruit in the 2018 recruiting class.

Mincamp invite: North Texas WR Kaylon Horton

A Second Team All-AAC return man in 2023, Horton's most valuable asset is his ability as a kick returner.

Chattanooga OL Griffin McDowell

A former tight end for the Florida Gators, McDowell is listed at 6-foot-5 and 301 pounds. McDowell started all 13 games for the Mocs at left tackle in 2023. He posted some tremendous testing numbers during his pro day, with 31 bench press repetitions, a 4.88s 40-yard dash, a 31-inch vertical, and a 110-inch broad jump.

Kent State CB DJ Miller

An O'Fallen, Missouri native, Miller played at Iowa State before landing with the Kent State Golden Flashes as a graduate transfer. He recorded 50 total tackles, one interception, three passes defended, and a fumble recovery in 2023.

Central Connecticut State LB Luquay Washington Jr.
