If you have been following the Kansas City Chiefs this season, you know they have had some issues on special teams. Whether it was the backup kicker missing field goals, or the punt return team muffing punts, there are things that need to be fixed.

On Tuesday right before the NFL trade deadline period, the Chiefs made a move. I'm sure the move wasn't made directly to help solve some special teams' issues, but it wouldn't hurt to try.

The Chiefs ended up trading for Kadarius Toney from the New York Giants. He didn't field punts for the Giants, but that doesn't mean he can't. On Wednesday during practice, someone caught him on video doing what everyone suspected the Chiefs would try with him.

Now, yes, it is just practice, but he does look extremely comfortable fielding punts in this video. The rookie Skyy Moore has been struggling in that area and even had a punt muffed against San Francisco that could have easily led to the game getting out of hand.

Luckily for Moore, Joshua Williams ended up getting an interception in the end zone.

Toney doesn't care what he is doing as long as he is helping the team.

“I just want to come in and do what is asked of me. Whatever play, whatever assignment I have to do, I’m just going to do it my hardest," Toney told the media on Wednesday.

Toney is one of those guys that is just a supreme athlete. Oh, and get this, his NFL draft comp was Tyreek Hill.

It is almost like a match made in heaven.
