The Kansas City Chiefs and Carolina Panthers will soon face off in the Week 12 game at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
This game marks just the eighth time these teams have faced off since the Panthers became an NFL franchise in 1995. Carolina will be looking to upset the reigning Super Bowl champion a week after they took their first loss. Meanwhile, the Chiefs aim to get back on track after dropping a game to a heated AFC rival in Buffalo.
Both teams face some personnel-related challenges for this week's game. Check out the full list of inactive players for each team down below. . .
Chiefs inactive players:
- OL CJ Hanson
- DT Marlon Tuipulotu
- OT Ethan Driskell
- RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire
- DE Cameron Thomas
Panthers inactive players:
- WR Jalen Coker
- S Jammie Robinson
- CB Shemar Bartholomew
- OLB Thomas Incoom
- OLB DJ Johnson
- OL Jarrett Kingston
- DT Jaden Crumedy
Observations:
A week after making OT Kingsley Suamataia inactive, the Chiefs have him back among the 48 game-day active players. Ethan Driskell was made inactive for the Panthers game. This decision comes after the team has agreed to terms on a deal with free agent OT DJ Humphries.
Chiefs RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire is a healthy scratch for the sixth consecutive week. It's hard to envision him making his way back into the lineup this season outside of more injuries.
RB Isiah Pacheco and DE Charles Omenihu have not yet been activated to the 53-man roster, so they do not need to be declared inactive. Both players were ruled out for the Week 12 game against the Panthers.
Panthers OLB DJ Johnson and WR Jalen Coker, both are inactive after being listed as questionable heading into Week 12.
