Chiefs Kingdom has been patiently waiting for Hollywood Brown's debut, and he may have provided a hint that it could be sooner rather than later.

The wide receiver posted a video on Instagram, showing him working out with his Kansas City helmet on.

So maybe the team will get him back before the regular season is over.

He has been on injured reserve since the beginning of the season with a sternoclavicular joint injury that didn't heal properly and required surgery.

Brown has not been afraid to post cryptic messages, including a recent one with a clock emoji.

Andy Reid also told reporters back in October that Brown was progressing well.

"Yeah, he's doing great," Reid explained. "That I can tell you, he's doing great.(He) seems to be on schedule, or a little bit ahead of schedule. So I can't tell you (if he'll be back this year). I mean, I don't know that. It's going to be a while, though. But he's, he's a relentless worker, I can tell you that much, and I can tell you he's doing very well for what he's got there."

A to Z Sports' Charles Goldman provided some insight into how Brown can help the offense when he's ready to return.

"Brown can play X, Z, and Zebra (slot) in the Chiefs' offense, but was expected to be used in a field-stretching role like the one currently occupied by rookie WR Xavier Worthy. Adding Brown to the mix for the playoffs could help the offense reach new heights, or at least the heights that were in part expected ahead of Brown's injury. Consider that he'll also be reunited with new Chiefs WR DeAndre Hopkins, who he played with on the Arizona Cardinals in 2022," Goldman wrote.

He's got the helmet on, so the next step is the pads. And then from there, he'll be catching passes from Mahomes.
