There's been a seemingly endless amount of shade thrown over the last couple of days by the Kansas City Chiefs at the Cincinnati Bengals.
Chiefs wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling got in on the fun by throwing some shade at Bengals cornerback Eli Apple.
"I was just whoopin' him all game," said Valdes-Scantling when asked about drawing a key penalty from Apple. "That was just another play where he couldn't cover me well enough. And [we] got the flag and we moved [the ball] up."
Apple talked a LOT of trash before the game against the Chiefs, so it's no surprise that a lot of the comments from KC players have been directed at him.
But that's not going to deter Apple from talking trash in the future. He said this week that he doesn't plan on changing his approach when it comes to talking trash.
One thing, however, that Apple might be changing this offseason is his address. He's scheduled to be a free agent in March and it's unclear if the Bengals are going to bring him back in 2023.
