The NFL Players Association has released it's third annual Players' All-Pro team, which includes three Kansas City Chiefs.

Those players are center Creed Humphrey, guard Joe Thuney, and defensive tackle Chris Jones. It's another honor for those three guys, who each also made the Pro Bowl

Humphrey is widely regarded as the best center in the league, Thuney is dominant at left guard and has displayed his versatility this year by filling it at left tackle, and while Jones may not have the big stats this season, he is a game-changer who constantly commands double and triple teams.

The NFLPA has specific rules for the criteria and voting process, beginning with  players not being allowed to vote for themselves or their teammates. They can only vote for the the position group they play in and line up against, and a player is not eligible if they have missed five or more games as of Week 15.

With players growing frustrated with how awards and accolades are determined, the NFLPA came up with this formula to try to appease them. Being identified as the best in the league at your position by your peers has to be a satisfying feeling for players. The Chiefs tied with the Baltimore Ravens for the most players selected.

The Associated Press All-Pro selections will be announced during NFL Honors, which is a few days before the Super Bowl. Humphrey, Thuney, and Jones should all also be in the mix to earn those honors. Another Chiefs player to keep an eye on that wasn't selected for the Pro Bowl or by the NFLPA is cornerback Trent McDuffie, who was named an AP First-Team All-Pro in 2023.
