In Week 15 of the NFL season, the Kansas City Chiefs (12-1) will travel to Northeast Ohio to face the Cleveland Browns (3-10) in an AFC matchup.

It will be a game between two teams on very different paths. Kansas City has had a very strong season and has a realistic shot at winning a third straight Super Bowl. On the other hand, the Browns have had a major yet disappointing season and have taken a step back as a franchise.

While this game does not have playoff implications outside of the Chiefs continuing to push for the No. 1 seed, we could still see a pretty good battle on Sunday because of how these teams stack up against one another.

Ahead of the Week 15 game, A to Z Sports has some final predictions on how it will go.

Chiefs 31, Browns 20

Cleveland has won a couple of games that no one had them winning this year against the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers. The Browns are capable of winning this game, but it is probably going to take some heroics from the defense, led by Myles Garrett. If Garrett can take advantage of the tackle problem the Chiefs have and sort of wreck the game, the Browns will have a chance. In the end, I have to simply go with Pat Mahomes over Jameis Winston, who could be in line to turn the ball over against Steve Spagnuolo’s defense.

Winning one-score games has been the Chiefs' blessing and curse this season, so why not another one-score game for Kansas City? Winning another one would tie an NFL-best mark (Vikings, 2022) for the most such victories in a single season in NFL history. The weather is set to be wet in this one, which should make ball security a major point of emphasis for both squads. Chiefs OC Matt Nagy spoke about it with the media this week, saying that they've been good at it but don't want to get sloppy with the football when it counts the most. This one feels like the type of game that the Chiefs win in the flukiest of ways. Given that they've failed to produce a lot of turnovers this season, how about Trent McDuffie getting a game-sealing interception off Jameis Winston on a two-point conversion attempt? It'd mark the first interception of his career, which is a little hard to believe, but it couldn't come at a better moment.

Browns 20, Chiefs 16

I would be lying if I said I wasn't concerned about this matchup for the Chiefs. The Browns sure have a lot of talent for being 3-10. They have a great pass rush led by Myles Garrett, who is going to be a nightmare for both of Kansas City's starting offensive tackles. Cleveland's defense also ranks in the top half of the league against the pass, and the Chiefs' passing game has been a mess all season. Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy has been on fire over the past six weeks, and K.C. has had issues at cornerback behind Trent McDuffie. The Browns would be smart to move Jeudy around and minimize his matchups against McDuffie. Quarterback Jameis Winston has made life hard for Cleveland with nine interceptions over his last five games, but the Chiefs' defense has only picked off six passes this season, the fourth-lowest amount in the NFL. Frankly, this is a bad matchup for the Chiefs, and with big games against the Houston Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers looming, this is a classic trap game. I'm taking the Browns with the upset. On a betting note, taking Cleveland on the moneyline and parlaying it with a Jeudy anytime touchdown would make for a nice payout.
