The Kansas City Chiefs have been fantastic at drafting the last four or five years. In this era with Brett Veach, Andy Reid, and occasionally Patrick Mahomes throwing in a suggestion, they don't miss on many draft picks. In fact, it feels like all of them hit eventually, whether it be on day one or later in their rookie deal.

But, in 2018, they did miss one. Sure, everyone still loves the dude, but let's just be frank — he didn't live up to expectations.

In 2018, the Chiefs took Breeland Speaks, a defensive lineman from Ole Miss, with their second-round pick. Unfortunately for both sides, the NFL just never really worked. Well, then, that is.

Now, Speaks is looking to make his way back to the NFL, as he signed a deal with another NFL team the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Jaguars had a season-ending injury to one of their depth pieces on the defensive line, so they went after Speaks.

Speaks was the UFL's Defensive Player of the Year, as he led the league in tackles for loss with 13 and led the league in sacks with 9.5.

Chiefs Kingdom will be happy to see him back in the league, and hopefully he's here to stay.
