A couple of former Tennessee Vols teammates will be reuniting with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Former Vols offensive lineman Wanya Morris was selected by the Chiefs with the No. 92 overall pick (round three) in the 2023 NFL Draft. He'll join his former Tennessee teammate Trey Smith in Kansas City.

Morris spent the first two years of his collegiate career at Tennessee before transferring to Oklahoma after the 2020 season.

The Georgia native may have left Knoxville for Norman, but he continued to represent the Vols even after leaving Rocky Top.

At the Senior Bowl earlier this year, Morris wore a Power T stick on his Oklahoma helmet.

Morris played alongside Smith, a starting guard for the Chiefs, for two seasons in Knoxville. Now the two former Vols will play on the same offensive line in the NFL.

Morris is expected to compete with Lucas Niang for the starting right tackle job in Kansas City.
