Los Angeles Chargers linebacker Joey Bosa gave Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes the ultimate respect this week while discussing Netflix's 'Quarterback' documentary that features Mahomes.
Bosa was interviewed this week by Fox Sports Radio's Doug Gottlieb and he was was asked if he's watched the Netflix documentary.
The four-time Pro Bowler was quick to point out that he has no desire to watch a documentary about Mahomes.
“[You] think I’m going to watch that,” responded Bosa when Gottlieb asked about the Netflix series. “Are you kidding me? I’m going to watch a documentary on Mahomes? For what? What, are you crazy? There’s eight billion on shows — do you just watch famous interviews when you get home?….I’m going to watch my rival and see how great he is?”
It's hard to disagree with Bosa's take there. Mahomes is the biggest obstacle that stands between the Chargers and an AFC West division title.
And I'm sure Bosa doesn't want to be constantly reminded of how dominant Mahomes has been over the last five years.
Bosa respects the greatness, he just doesn't want any reminders of it.
