The Kansas City Chiefs and Chicago Bears are set to square off on Sunday at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
The Chiefs don't face nearly as many roster questions this week as they did a week ago, but they are missing one key defender for Week 3. The Bears will be down their starting left tackle after his placement on injured reserve. They'll also be without their best defensive back.
Here's a quick breakdown of the inactive players for this afternoon's game.
Chiefs:
- LB Nick Bolton
- CB Nic Jones
- DE BJ Thompson
- OL Wanya Morris
- T Lucas Niang
- DT Keondre Coburn
Bears:
- S Eddie Jackson
- RB D'Onta Foreman
- QB Tyson Bagent
- WR Equanimeous St. Brown
- S AJ Thomas
- DL Daniel Hardy
Observations:
No Nick Bolton means that Drue Tranquill will wear the green dot on Sunday. Expect Willie Gay Jr. to be the backup MIKE linebacker given that he was made active for Week 3.
Both Kadarius Toney and Isiah Pacheco are active. Expect the duo to have few restrictions against Chicago.
Neil Farrell Jr. is active for the first time since his trade from the Raiders. It'll be interesting to see how much playing time he gets.
With Richie James on injured reserve expect WR Montrell Washington to return kicks and punts on Sunday.
Without Eddie Jackson, it'll be Jaquon Brisker and Elijah Hicks in the secondary for the Bears.
Chiefs make several roster moves ahead of Week 3
The Kansas City Chiefs have placed a receiver on injured reserve and elevated a pair of players from the practice squad for Week 3.
