Injury report observations:

  • Toney, Sneed and Wharton being limited doesn't necessarily preclude their status for Week 1. There is always a ramp-up period for players coming off of this type of injury.
  • James being limited with a knee injury is a new development. It's unclear if this is something that popped up in practice, but he was not previously reported as injured.
  • Good news for Jones and Allegretti with both participating in full after missing the final preseason game.
  • Thompson's hamstring is also a new development, but it seems to be minor.
  • Great news to see that Leo Chenal is not listed on the injury report. He'll be needed against Detroit's stout rushing attack.
