Chiefs-Raiders Week 7 Inactive Players: Jaylon Moore to get second consecutive start, Raiders thin on pass catchers
See who’s in and who’s out for Kansas City’s Week 7 matchup against the Raiders.
The Kansas City Chiefs will kickoff against the Las Vegas Raiders at high noon in their Week 7 matchup.
The big buzz surrounding this game is the return of wide receiver Rashee Rice following the knee injury he sustained in 2024 and the six-game suspension he served to begin the 2025 season. Kansas City’s roster has been impressively healthy over the past few weeks.
The Raiders have been dealing with key injuries with their pass catchers on offense. Quarterback Geno Smith is struggling as it is, leading the NFL in interceptions thrown with 10. Let’s take a look at each team’s full lists of inactive players.
Raiders inactive players
- TE Brock Bowers
- WR Jakobi Meyers
- RB Zamir White
- DT JJ Pegues
- DT Tonka Hemingway
- OG Caleb Rogers
Observations:
- Bowers was able to log a limited practice on Friday, but did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday. The 2024 All-Pro will miss his second consecutive game with a knee injury.
- Meyers worked out on the field this morning to see if he could give it a go, but won’t play in today’s game as he deals with a knee and toe injury.
Chiefs inactive players
- OL Josh Simmons
- CB Kristian Fulton
- RB Elijah Mitchell
- TE Jared Wiley
- DE Malik Herring
Observations:
- Simmons was ruled out on Friday after not practicing all week as he continues to deal with a personal situation. There is currently no timetable for his return. Jaylon Moore, who played well in Simmons’ place last week, will start in his place once again.
- Fulton is a healthy scratch for the second straight week. Injuries and the emergence of rookie CB Nohl Williams is making it tough for Fulton to find his way onto the field.
- Mitchell and Wiley have not been activated for a game so far in 2025.
