The answer is budding NBA superstar Ja Morant.
Mahomes tweeted his appreciation of Morant on Tuesday morning.
I'm with Mahomes on this one. The Memphis Grizzlies guard is playing out of his mind right now. Morant scored 52 points in the Grizzlies' win against the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night while making some mind-blowing plays.

Morant was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft.
The player selected ahead of Morant, New Orleans Pelicans forward Zion Williamson, has only played in 85 games since 2019 (and none this season). Morant, on the other hand, has played in 179 games.
I wonder how badly the Pelicans regret taking Williamson over Morant?
